Hello my names Mark

I am coming over at the end of February on vacation from the UK and wondered if you could help us with any advice to enable us to hire a hybrid or road bike for the 2 weeks we’re here.
We’re be staying in the Lake Buena Vista area and there will be 4 of us.

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated

Brad, the group continues to ride together not sure what heppened to the Bobbies name and group but I think the group you rode with is the Lakemont group ride (info listed on site). It is nice group and my favorite part is the socialization after the rides for bagels and coffee or whatever.

@admin@orlandobikerides.com Kimmy, It is really tough to make that determination with the information above. Most groups have different level of rides with the opportunity of advancement as your saddle time increases. I would think the major determining factor would be your location. Find an organized ride near you, let me know where you are located and I or someone else reading will help you find a ride.

Hey I am a road biker and just got to Orlando and would like to start riding with a group but not sure how to pick what group would suit me better. I am very young and have been biking for a while. However, since I got to Orlando I have not been biking much so I am wanting to work on my strength and endurance while being pushed. I’m a resident of Avalon Park and a cyclist. I recently found out about the Eastside Cycling Club, and I’m looking forward to joining and doing some of the group rides.

I’m a pilot with Continental Airlines, and also have a business called Arbin Audio/Video.

Looking forward to riding with the club.

We had a blast as well Don. We were feeling it on our 20 miler down Innovation Way… or was that the wind?! The whole teamwork and camaraderie thing with our group is what I like most. It’s fun and challenging… and just a great group of people at all levels of fitness. Thanks for this blog. It isn’t always easy to talk on a ride and with having this facebook account we can communicate a lot more with each other. Have a great weekend!
